It’s one of those strange things that some people have a fascination for, the collection of cat figurines. It some cases older people have started collecting these type of stand alone pieces.
They have been created since Egyptian times and have given much joy to those who collect them. The Egyptians have always had a fascination of these pieces which goes with their love of cats.

Siamese cat figurines were very popular in the 1950s. These collectibles can range from china to ceramic. You can find them to be of value if they looked after. If they have been nicked or chipped or repaired in some way, it diminishes the value.

Cats like Garfield can fetch a good price when it comes to being a collector. Cartoon cats such as Garfield, Heathcliff, Tom (and Jerry) are very popular with cat collectors. Some people will collect everything that they can from a particular cat from a cartoon. The Disney Aristocats do very well.

Black cats are not unlucky for all. Black cats are a very much loved collection among those who build collections.
These come in all shapes and sizes and like the Siamese cat figurines can be worth quite a bit of money if they are made by a well known artist or pottery company.
